Aloha to all those far and near. Some exciting times here at B+G so lets dive right in!
B+G is just coming down off the HLTA EXPO at the Honolulu Neil Blaisdell Center this past week. We had an amazing time, sharing our Lifestyle Brand with the hospitality industry professionals who attended. We timed the roll out of our new line B+G Fabs, to coincide with the event. The reception was incredible and we are honored have to have the opportunity provide custom fabrications for our new clients.
Through out the HLTA EXPO we were able to share our many new B+G Island Imports Collections and Catalogs of fine furnishings, both in-stock and custom order. Much to our surprise (we had no intention of selling anything from the floor), we actually sold our beautiful teak root floor display in the first few minutes of the show. Of course our favorite pieces always go quick!
Our B+G Design Build division was active with many folks in the Hawaii Restaurant industry. We love to work in this sector, as there is so much room for creativity and flavorful designs-and food! Being able to showcase the wide cross section of B+G Lifestyle products and services all at once is nowhere more applicable than at an event like the HLTA Hospitality Expo.
In other new, we have been working very hard to bring more focus back into our B+G Properties Division. We have formed a special Hui with anobjective of working together ina public/private partnership of “City planning projects” that provide re-development of existing urban and new vertical infill for reasonably priced dwellings as well as community enhancement thru added mixed use (by new zoning capture) andfeatured people centric-open healthy spaces. This is the tip of the iceberg so to speak and there will be much more on this to come as we progress.
As B+G Innovations primary function is to share our vision of the need for the human race to choose sustainable practices and products, we are constantly creating and following new developments to serve this goal. We are very excited with emphasis and growth we see in the area of affordable energy storage to the general consumer. This has always been one of the most significant limiting factors in the pursuit of energy independence-be it personally, locally or nationally. Through the commitment of continued development in the area of alternative energy capture and transfer, we are one step closer to a cleaner, more stable and sustainable world.
